SCORM Untethered is a great solution to an inconsistent set of problems. In the years since we created the product as an extension of the SCORM Engine, we’ve found that our customers want very different things for it.
As of today (February 2009), we’ve elected to cease the evolution of SCORM Untethered for its own sake. As a reasonably small company that operates with a lean staff, we are forced to make decisions between the many great products we could attempt to create.
We will continue to offer SCORM Untethered to our customers in its current state. If you want it to do more than it does, go ahead and ask. Decisions like this are never permanent. Consider this message an effort at full disclosure. We want our customers and prospects to be clear on where we’re headed and why we’re going there.
